PENSKE RACING SHOCKS REBOUND HIGH SPEED SHAFT

Eyelet Options :
  • Description

The high speed rebound shaft enables the user to maintain a specific nose profile while increasing or decreasing wanted or unwanted high speed, or change the zero point without adding bleed. On average, there are 20 - 22 "clicks" of adjustment depending on the shim arrangement and/or inner shaft offset. A fixed .060 bleed jet is fitted in the shaft above the PRS dual bleed check system. The dual bleed check system takes the place of a bleed shim and bleed hole drilled in the piston. By using the system, bleed can be easily changed in both directions without having to disassemble or alter the main build, thus saving time and reducing the cost of having multiple bleed shim and piston inventory. All attributes combined, the RHS shaft and 22 "clicks" of adjustment essentially provide twenty-two different shocks in one, ultimately decreasing the amount of time a user has to spend on tuning at the rig or track. Zero point adjustments from 200lbs up 1000lbs are achievable all with one shaft. The PS-6020-RHS is available in lengths of 5.0", 6.0", 7.0", 8.0", and 9.0", and can be purchased alone or incorporated into the price of a new shock. A 2.1" eyelet and MO-8T mono ball are standard, but users may also request different eyelet and mono ball sizes.

The Penske Advantage

  • The PS-6020-RHS shaft uses a three-piece inner shaft design to reduce "zero" point fade due to heat and part expansion
  • Run separate compression and rebound bleed
  • Multiple cage diameters so you can get the exact curve shape and adjustment range desired
  • Can be adapted ot any Penske Shock model
  • Available in 5", 6", 7", 8", and 9" stroke lengths
