The same race-winning technology is now offered in the highest quality shock packages designed specifically for the 3rd Gen Mazda RX-7. For the FD Chassis RX-7, both front and rear shocks are inline mono-tube style shocks. They are built with the same components and by the same technicians that serve the above mentioned professional racing series. All of the shock options install in the stock location using 12mm stud mount on top and lightweight aluminum lower body caps. The stock upper mounts are 10mm so minor modification is necessary or you can request 10mm stud mounts instead.

The 7500 series single adjustable package features a single shaft rebound/compression adjuster. The 7500 also utilizes a gas separator piston that keeps your oil and nitrogen from mixing. This improves performance and reliability.  

The 8300 series double adjustable package features a single shaft rebound adjuster and a high-speed compression adjuster on the remote reservoir. This is the latest entry-level, double adjustable shock offered by Penske Racing Shocks.

The 8700/8760 series triple adjustable package features a single shaft rebound adjuster and independent high and low-speed compression adjustment on the remote reservoir.

Unlike the less expensive competitor packages, all of our suspension builds are tailored to you. We will recommend dyno curves and spring rates but a phone call is typically necessary to understand how you want your car to perform. Part of The Penske Advantage is having your own personal shock technician at your disposal to listen to your needs and to share our experiences at no additional cost.
